BALAK’s products are guaranteed to be free from defective materials, manufacturing and workmanship.
All Mejas are entitled to a two-year warranty on the tabletop, mold steel frame and electrical components. A one-year extension is available at 10% of the product price. Within warranty period, Your Meja is subjected to one time one-to-one exchange only.
The warranty is valid for the original purchaser with a proof of purchase and is not transferrable. Upon reception, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to inspect the wooden surface of the product for any defects.
Exceptions to the coverage include but are not limited to:
– Products modified or repaired by the purchaser and/or a third party
– Defects caused by improper assembly and/or use
– Regular wear and tear
– Damages caused by exceeding the Meja’s load limit of 100kg
– Damages caused by impact
– Scratches caused by sharp or foreign objects
– Wood grain or irregularities on the wooden surface that arise from the natural texture of the material
– Natural ageing of the wood in the forms of minor cracks and slight colour change over time
– Changes in appearance caused by temperature and direct exposure to the sun
– Slight bending as a result of variations in temperature and humidity
– Damages incurred to the tabletop resulting from the use of acetone or liquid that contains acetone
If you purchase the installation service for 50SGD, this fee covers a one-time installation only. The 50SGD fee will also apply for any future dismantling and installation during returns or exchanges.
Products apart from the Mejas are protected with a 14-day defect warranty. Talk to us if you need warranty services (hopefully never), and we’ll be happy to assist.
Under the 2-year warranty, the motor and mechanical parts of your Meja are entitled to exchange if they have a manufacturing defect. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless your purchase has a manufacturing, material or workmanship defect. If you receive a defective item, please contact us with details of the product and evidence of the defect.

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via contacted method, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price via the original method of payment. We have the right to refuse or cancel an order and provide a refund at any given time without prior notice or explanation.
Kindly note that all refunds are subjected to a 6% transaction fee to cover payment processing costs incurred during the initial purchase. As a result, you will receive Purchase Price minus 6% transaction fee, rather than a full refund.

All Mejas are shipped in 7 to 16 business days, along with any accessories purchased in the same order. Individual accessory orders are shipped within 5 to 7 business days.
You have the option to hold your delivery for a maximum of 90 days (3 months) from the date of purchase. If you need to extend the delivery beyond the initial 90-day period, a flat rate of RM150 will be charged for additional every 3 months extension.
To assist you with managing the delivery timeline, we will send you an email reminder on Day 60 or the 3rd month after the purchase date.
